Owners of 'Vedi Alco' Released
The owner of 'Vedi Alco', Manvel Ghazaryan, and his sons were released yesterday after being detained in relation to the incident that occurred on Pushkin Street on July 7.
The police informed NEWS.am that an investigation is ongoing at the central police department regarding this case.
As previously reported, several citizens were detained on July 7, including Yerevan residents: 21-year-old Hrachya Nazaryan, 58-year-old Manvel Ghazaryan, 54-year-old Gevorg Voskanyan, 26-year-old Garnik Ghazaryan, 24-year-old Vardges Mkhitaryan, 25-year-old Armen Nazaryan, and 23-year-old David Ghazaryan. These individuals were apprehended near the location at 21/3 Pushkin Street.
According to sources, two citizens were transferred to Heratsi University Hospital at approximately 1:25 AM, one with a broken nasal bone and a concussion, and the other with cervical injuries on the right side. Reports indicate that one of the assailants was the well-known businessman Manvel, the owner of 'Vedi Alco', and that David and Garnik, who were also involved, are his sons.
