Unoccupied Bus Rolls Forward and Ends Up Upside Down in Ravine
Today, July 6, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 12:30 PM, in the 9th mass of the Nor Nork administrative district, on Vilnius Street, under yet-to-be-determined circumstances, a bus belonging to route number 63, which is currently not in operation, rolled forward while parked above a trench dug for its repair and ended up upside down in a ravine.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, who reported from the scene, fortunately, there were no injuries. Residents living in several apartment buildings nearby expressed their relief, stating, “It’s a miracle that no one was hurt. The bus was even under renovation; it didn't even have an engine on it. But this area has completely turned into a pigsty, it's become a graveyard for buses.”
