VIDEO. Meshchyan Spreads Misinformation, Tigran Hekekyan on Arami 23 Building

The Arami 23 building remains collapsed. During a meeting with journalists today, Tigran Hekekyan, the founder of the "Little Singers of Armenia" choir, stated that they have filed a lawsuit to contest the government’s decision.

According to the decision, the Arami 23 building has been recognized as a matter of public interest. The issue of restoring Arami 23 has been under discussion for quite some time, not only affecting this address but also neighboring high-rise buildings that are suffering damage, with the extent of the damage increasing over time.

"The chief architect of Yerevan is spreading misinformation," said Tigran Hekekyan, pointing out that Arthur Meshchyan has repeatedly stated during press conferences that a project has been submitted for discussion, yet Hekekyan has been unable to find this project anywhere.

Technical engineer Michael Sahakyan also believes that traffic should be prohibited on Byuzand and Arami streets, as it contributes to the acceleration of the buildings' collapse process.

It should be noted that approximately six months ago, a section of the building at Arami 23 collapsed. Other buildings near Arami 23 are also at risk of collapse, with significant cracks appearing on the walls of several structures.
