The Owner of a Booth Installed on Abovyan Street Has Been Fined, Karapetyan
The owner of a booth installed on Abovyan Street, near the Circular Park in Yerevan, has been fined 200,000 drams, according to a post by Yerevan Mayor's spokesperson Hakob Karapetyan on his Facebook page.
"The Urban Development and Land Control Department of the Yerevan Municipality imposed the fine in accordance with Article 154 of the RA Code of Administrative Offenses (unauthorized construction of buildings and structures)," he wrote.
Earlier in an interview with Tert.am, Karapetyan mentioned that the newly constructed booth at the intersection of Isaacyan and Abovyan Streets would be dismantled, if not today, then tomorrow. He also noted that the operator had applied to the administration of the central administrative district to sell refreshing beverages on the designated land, which received no objections.
"However, instead of a booth, a kiosk was installed, and not in the area for which the application was made. The kiosk will be dismantled, if not today, then tomorrow," Karapetyan added.
