Criminal Culture Promoted in Gegharkunik, Reports 'Zhoghovurd'

'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports: On May 11, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Gegharkunik region to participate in the investment business forum titled 'My Step for Gegharkunik.'

After the forum, an exhibition was held where, for unknown reasons, it was decided to present one of the symbols of the criminal world, the octagon, to the Prime Minister and guests from around the globe.

For several days now, 'Zhoghovurd' has been receiving numerous complaints from residents of the region. People are dissatisfied with the fact that criminal culture is being indirectly promoted in the region.

The Governor of Gegharkunik did not respond to our calls, while the Governor's assistant, Narek Manukyan, stated that it was presented by children from the robotics group in Chambarak, which, according to the assistant, is not such an extraordinary phenomenon.
