Significant Testimonies: The Blame for March 1 is Being Shifted to the Deceased

«Jradar» newspaper reports, “While reviewing the testimonies of former high-ranking officials interrogated in relation to the March 1 case, one genuinely feels disappointment.

The fact is, that many have repeatedly mentioned the names of deceased former high-ranking officials regarding various episodes in their testimonies. In other words, there seems to be an attempt to directly or indirectly shift the blame for certain aspects of March 1 onto deceased officials, well aware that their words cannot be refuted. It is not surprising that there is no shortage of allusions in this regard towards the former director of the NSS, Gorik Hakobyan, and then deputy police chief Armen Yeritsyan.

Additionally, the former Minister of Defense Mikhail Harutyunyan is also in the spotlight, who issued the highly classified order 0038. The former minister, who is currently wanted, also holds Russian citizenship and is currently in Russia. Those mentioning his name understand that Russia will not extradite M. Harutyunyan, so anything can be shifted onto others.
