The Authorities Intend to Split the Prosperous Armenia Party
The newspaper 'Zhamanak' reports: 'The authorities intend to split the National Assembly's Prosperous Armenia faction in such a way that a group of deputies from this faction will announce their departure for various reasons and will continue their activities as independent deputies.
Serzh Sargsyan's government acted similarly with the Prosperous Armenia Party after the well-known events of February 2015 when Tsarukyan announced his withdrawal from politics under extreme pressure from the authorities. Now history is repeating itself, this time within the framework of an anti-oligarchic struggle.'
