Sanasyan's Lawyer Made Inappropriate Remarks About the Prosecutor General: Gor Abrahamyan
The advisor to the Attorney General of Armenia, Gor Abrahamyan, stated on his Facebook page: "Today, during a press conference with the head of the Armenian State Control Service (whose position is temporarily suspended), Davit Sanasyan, and his lawyers, attorney Inesa Petrosyan clearly went beyond the limits of propriety and ethics, allowing herself to make inappropriate remarks directed at the Attorney General of Armenia, which are unbecoming not only of a professional lawyer but also of any individual who possesses the basic rules of decency.
We remind our esteemed colleague that making unfounded claims sprinkled with emotional outbursts in public speeches has no relation to the principle of defending a client’s rights by all means provided by law and to professionalism.
Therefore, we urge that instead of attempting to sway public opinion against the Attorney General with such low-quality means, she should focus on genuinely defending her client's interests within the scope of her authorities and functions."
