Tragic Car Accident in Syunik: Injured and Fatalities

On April 29, a major and tragic car accident occurred in the Syunik region at around 11:50 AM. The driver of a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado with the license plate A 120 XX 61 RUS lost control of the vehicle on the Yerevan-Meghri highway in the administrative area of Sisian under circumstances that are yet to be determined, veering into the opposite traffic lane and crashing into rocks.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, one individual, a woman, has died on the spot, while two others received medical assistance for bodily injuries from the doctors who arrived on site from Sisian Hospital.

The police and investigative department are working to determine the identities of the driver, the deceased, and the injured individuals. By order of the investigator, the vehicle is being transferred to the special storage area of the Sisian police department.
