Brotherly Mindset in the National Assembly Remains Unchallenged: Arthur Sakunts
Human rights defender Arthur Sakunts wrote on his Facebook page: “Although it was in the National Assembly that the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, delivered his famous speech, which was heard by representatives of all political factions present in the National Assembly, it is the extra-parliamentary political force that raises questions regarding the incompatibility of business and politics.
While I do not want to draw far-reaching conclusions, an involuntary question arises: can we assert that the brotherly mindset in the National Assembly has not been overcome?
I hope for and expect an official stance from all parliamentary factions regarding the issues raised by the opposition, rather than trying to evade expressing an official position at the level of one or two deputies.”
