Man Charged with Causing Severe Bodily Harm to Wife

The Investigation Committee of Armenia has disclosed the circumstances of a case involving severe bodily harm inflicted by a husband on his wife. A 53-year-old man has been formally charged.

According to information provided by the press service of the Investigation Committee, the incident occurred on October 8, 2018, around 7:00 AM, when a resident of Armavir province, born in 1965, had an argument with his 47-year-old wife over household issues inside their pantry. During the altercation, he intentionally struck her in the face, pulled her hair, threw her to the ground, and punched her 4-5 times in the face.
