Kocharian Delivers Detailed Statement in Court, Lawyer Says

Robert Kocharian delivered a lengthy and detailed statement, describing the events following the 2008 presidential elections and the reasons that led to the imposition of a state of emergency in the country. This was reported by Haik Alumyane, one of Kocharian's lawyers, during a recent briefing with journalists.

It is noteworthy that the Court of Appeal will announce its decision regarding Robert Kocharian's case on April 11 at 12:30 PM.

Additionally, it is important to mention that on March 15, the first instance court approved the request of the Special Investigative Service to extend the detention period imposed on Robert Kocharian by an additional two months.
