Client Steals Taxi in Yerevan, Damages Another Car

On April 7, at 11:00 PM, a report was received by the Nor Nork police department indicating that the client had stolen a taxi vehicle, specifically an "Opel," near the zoo at 10:55 PM on the same day.

Thanks to the measures taken by the 4th special battalion of the Yerevan police department and the 1st patrol service battalion of the traffic police, the vehicle was intercepted on Northern Avenue and at 11:00 PM, the suspect, 1995-born Hovhannes Kh. (released under amnesty on November 9, 2018), was taken to the Central police station where he provided a confession. Hovhannes Kh. was sent to the Nor Nork department with the prepared materials.

On the same day, at 11:25 PM, a citizen from the Islamic Republic of Iran reported to the traffic police operational management center that Hovhannes Kh., who had fled, had damaged the bumper of his parked "Toyota Camry" on Hnain Yerevantsi Street with the stolen "Opel" between the hours of 8:00 PM and 11:59 PM.

A forensic examination has been appointed.

An investigation is underway.
