Third Complaint Filed by Robert Kocharian's Defense Registered by ECHR
The European Court of Human Rights has registered the third complaint submitted by the defense of Armenia's second president, Robert Kocharian, as reported by his legal team.
It is noted that this third complaint pertains to the extension of the detention period of Robert Kocharian, during which violations of Articles 5, paragraphs 1, 3, and 4 of the Convention occurred.
As a reminder, one of the two earlier complaints submitted by the defense is based on violations of Article 6, paragraphs 2 and 3 of the European Convention regarding the presumption of innocence and the right to defense. The other complaint was filed on the basis of the decision to impose pre-trial detention on Robert Kocharian.
