1,841,688 AMD: Araik Harutyunyan's Declaration

According to the newspaper "Fact," the Minister of Education and Science of Armenia, Araik Harutyunyan, has submitted his 2018 annual declaration to the High-Ranking Officials Ethics Commission. According to the declaration published on the official website of the commission, Harutyunyan does not own any real estate or movable property.

The minister has provided information only about financial assets and income. At the beginning of the 2018 tax year, his financial assets amounted to 230,000 AMD. By the end of the tax year, his financial assets totaled 1,443,163 AMD.

The total income of A. Harutyunyan for the 2018 tax year was 7,716,582 AMD. Of this income, 1,204,771 AMD and 4,843,615 AMD were derived from two salaries. Income from loans amounted to 600,000 AMD and 1,068,196 AMD.

In contrast to his 2018 annual declaration, the declaration submitted at the time of assuming office included an apartment. In the declaration when assuming office, his financial assets were 480,000 AMD, and the total income was 1,841,688 AMD.
