Major Car Accident in Syunik: 2 Individuals Hospitalized
Investigator Kosteanyan from the 6th battalion of the 2nd police division is preparing materials regarding the car accident that occurred on March 25 in the Syunik region.
At around 12:30 PM, 32-year-old Ara Harutyunyan, a resident of Kapan, lost control of his Toyota Vitz with license plate 32 NN 444 on the Kapan-Kajaran highway at the 7th kilometer mark, crashing into a concrete barrier.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, driver A. Harutyunyan and his passenger, 31-year-old Vahagn Davtyan, sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the Kapan medical center.
As reported by G. Shamshyan, A. Harutyunyan works as an operator at the “Kapan Copper Concentrator” LLC, while V. Davtyan is the director of the “Astghaber” hydroelectric station.
