Lightning Strikes Plane Heading to Sochi
A plane flying from Kazan to Sochi has been struck by lightning. According to RBC, the aircraft was able to land safely without any emergency incidents.
As reported by the news outlet, the lightning hit the plane 35 kilometers away from the airport while the aircraft was preparing to land. The plane has been parked at Vnukovo Airport and is undergoing inspection by technical staff.
