Collision in Yerevan Involves Mercedes, Opel, and VAZ Model Car; One Driver is Vice President of Billiards Federation

Authorities are gathering evidence regarding a traffic accident that occurred in Yerevan. According to Shamshyan.com, on March 24 at around 04:30, three vehicles collided in front of building 14 on Bagratuniats Street. The vehicles involved included a VAZ 2106 with license plate 68 OL 587 driven by 60-year-old Samvel Hunanian, a 27-year-old Garnik Simonyan driving an Opel with license plate 35 NQ 693, and a Mercedes with license plate 35 AM 120 driven by 52-year-old Khachatur Melikyan, all residents of different areas in Yerevan.

According to photos from the scene, following the accident, Khachatur Melikyan and Garnik Simonyan's 17-year-old passenger, Gevorg Hovsepyan, a resident of Norq Marash, were transported to Erebuni Medical Center with injuries. Sources indicate that driver Samvel Hunanian informed the police that he is the vice president of the billiards federation.
