Citizen Attempts Suicide by Car

On March 24, at 16:20, the "911" service received a report that a citizen, identified as A.A., was attempting to commit suicide near the village of Tigranashen in Ararat Province, requiring the assistance of rescue services.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that on the 80th kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, A.A. (born in 1967) was trying to commit suicide by driving a "VAZ-2106" vehicle into a ravine adjacent to Tigranashen village.

The rescuers provided psychological support to the resident of the Zod-Banavan neighborhood, moved him to a safe area, and turned him over to employees of the Vedi police department.
