Anna Hakobyan Meets with the Mother of the Breadwinner

On March 20, Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia and the editor-in-chief of the Armenian newspaper "Haykakan Zhamanak," visited the mother of Arthur Sargsyan (the Breadwinner), Donara Sargsyan, and presented her with the "Tigran Hayrapetyan" award from the newspaper. This information was provided by the press service of the office of the Prime Minister's wife.

Thanking for the award and the attention shown, Mrs. Donara presented details from the events of July 26, 2016, when Arthur Sargsyan drove into the police station and delivered food to the people inside. It was for this act that society named him the "Breadwinner." While recalling details, Mrs. Donara emphasized that it is important for her that the Breadwinner's car be returned to their family.

During the conversation, Mrs. Hakobyan also inquired about Mrs. Donara's health issues and promised to assist her in this regard.

The "Tigran Hayrapetyan" award from the Armenian newspaper "Haykakan Zhamanak" was presented posthumously to Arthur Sargsyan on March 18 of this year for his humanitarianism and self-sacrifice. In her speech, Anna Hakobyan emphasized that the award is another opportunity to appreciate and bow before the high humanitarian values demonstrated by Arthur Sargsyan.

"I want to emphasize that the award has no political component; on the contrary, it signifies that there are situations in the world that transcend politics," stated Anna Hakobyan.
