Nearly $20,000 Stolen from Hayincasacia's Vault: Details
The Investigative Committee of Armenia has launched a criminal case regarding a significant theft at the Shirak regional investigative department.
According to Shamshyan.com, the case was initiated yesterday, on March 19, based on the complaint of 60-year-old Valeri Sargsyan. He approached the Shirak regional police department to report that on March 18, around 12:00 PM, employees of the Hayincasacia company had transferred a large sum of money to the Shirak branch of Akba Credit Agricole Bank from its Yerevan's Nor Nork branch.
Sargsyan also mentioned that due to the end of the workday, they could not hand over the transferred money to the bank and had kept it in the vault of Hayincasacia’s Gryumri branch located at 7 Gay St.
Yesterday at 10:00 AM, they delivered the specified bag to Akba Credit Agricole Bank, and upon opening the bag at the bank, it was discovered that instead of the large sum of money, the bag contained bundles of cash labeled with
