Measles Detected in Passenger Arriving from Kyiv; Health Authorities Urge Vaccination
A citizen from Ukraine arrived in Armenia on flight PS 611 from Kyiv, where a laboratory has confirmed a case of measles. The flight departed from Kyiv on February 24, 2019, at 20:10 and arrived in Yerevan on February 25, 2019, at 00:47. This information was announced by the Public Relations Department of the Armenian Ministry of Health.
“We urge all passengers on this flight and those who were present in the airport lounge upon arrival to get vaccinated against measles if they have not been vaccinated or do not have two doses,” the statement said.
