Stabbing in Yerevan: Both Victim and Attacker Are Former Convicts

On February 23, a 28-year-old resident of Yerevan, Khachatur K., presented himself to the police station with a confession.

According to Shamshyan.com, around 2:00 AM, a call was received at the Arabkir police division from a hospital reporting that a citizen with "a stab wound with bleeding on the right side of the chest" had been admitted.

The police established that the injured individual is 20-year-old Ruben N., a resident of the Arabkir administrative district, who was brought to the hospital from Papazyan Street.

While doctors were fighting for his life, police officers discovered that he had been attacked with a sharp object by Khachatur K.

Sources indicate that Khachatur was taken to the Arabkir police division by police officers shortly afterward. Both the stabbing victim and the assailant have prior convictions.
