5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Iran
A 5.2 magnitude earthquake has struck Hormozgan Province in southern Iran. As a result of the tremors, three people have been injured. This was reported by the Irna news agency, citing a representative from Iran's rescue services.
The official noted that the tremors occurred on Sunday at 14:24 local time, with the earthquake's epicenter located at a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter was near one of the villages in the Qeshm region.
"As a result of the incident, three people were injured, including a 17-year-old girl. All the injured have been evacuated from the scene and transported to the hospital," the official stated.
It was also noted that 15 homes were damaged due to the earthquake.
