Another Earthquake Recorded in Artsakh
On February 4, at 05:24 local time (01:24 GMT), the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia registered an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.5, located at geographic coordinates 40.100 North latitude and 46.100 East longitude (6 km east of the town of Karvachar in the Republic of Artsakh), at a depth of 10 km.
The intensity of the underground tremor at the epicenter was measured at 3 points.
The earthquake was felt in the town of Karvachar with an intensity of 3 points.
It is worth noting that another earthquake was recorded in the same area just the day before. On February 3, at 08:30 (04:30 GMT), the Seismic Protection Territorial Service recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.8, also located at 40.100 North latitude and 46.100 East longitude (6 km east of Karvachar), at a depth of 10 km.
The intensity of that underground tremor at the epicenter was measured at 3-4 points.
