Predictions on Inflation Did Not Materialize: Nikol Pashinyan
Contrary to predictions that inflation would reach 3%, and even 3.5-4% in 2018, the actual inflation rate was 1.8%. This was stated by the Acting Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on his Facebook page.
The official added,
“Of course, there was a moment when the behavior of inflation was indeed concerning, but the government and the Central Bank were able to contain inflation.”
