Protest Action Near the Russian Embassy

In Armenia, public and political figures have gathered in front of the Russian Embassy to raise a protest note against the situation at the 102nd military base located in Gyumri.

According to protest participant Narine Mkrtchyan, unfortunately, the new government continues the policies of the previous administration, as evidenced by the failure to review membership in the EAEU, unequal relations with Russia, Armenia's voting in the UN, Lavrov's plan, and the horrifying statements from Russia and Belarus directed at the Armenian leadership.

She stated that they waited, but no one from the Russian embassy came down to address the protesters.

“We were offered to throw that box in. This also indicates that Russia is not willing to listen to the demands of Armenian citizens, and Moscow is confident that it can treat the Armenian people as it does with citizens of the Kaliningrad region. Armenia has not been and will not become a part of the Kaliningrad region; we are an independent state,” she emphasized.
