High-ranking official of the State Revenue Committee released on bail of 2 million drams
The high-ranking official of the State Revenue Committee, Suren Eloyan, who was detained by the employees of the 6th department, has been released on bail of 2 million drams, reports Armtimes.com.
"This was stated by his lawyer Mihran Poghosyan during our conversation. This decision was made by the judge of the Court of Appeal, Manushak Petrosyan," the media outlet reports.
It is noteworthy that Suren Eloyan, the head of the inspections division of the Small Taxpayers Department of the State Revenue Committee, along with inspector Vagharshak Lalayan and deputy Samson Arakelyan, were reportedly "exposed" while allegedly accepting a bribe of 1 million drams on October 22.
