The State Revenue Committee Warns Individuals Engaged in Business Activities in the Show Business Sector
Engaging in illegal entrepreneurship can lead to criminal liability. The State Revenue Committee, considering the partnership relations between the tax authorities and taxpayers, once again urges those involved in business activities within the show business sector—singers, musicians, presenters, and similar professionals—to obtain state registration or to be registered with the tax authorities, to honestly declare their income, and to pay taxes in accordance with the Tax Code.
Given that this issue has been under discussion for a considerable period, the State Revenue Committee encourages individuals to declare their income within a short timeframe. Otherwise, tax monitoring measures will be implemented against individuals who are on the radar of the tax authorities.
It is reminded that engaging in illegal entrepreneurship may lead to criminal liability.
Recognizing the importance of the cultural sector, the State Revenue Committee sees the solution to the issue in a platform of mutual understanding, again notifying individuals involved in business activities in the show business sector instead of taking drastic measures.
