What’s in the name ‘Ararat’ you take it all: I’m sure it's not about the property, it’s about the signs – Khmoyan

Agnesa Khmoyan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction, criticized the 'Civil Contract' party in parliament, accusing them of stealing citizens' votes during elections.

During the first sitting of the 9th convocation of the National Assembly, Khmoyan stated that the Civil Contract party has been trying for days to prove its democratic nature and that it did not falsify the elections.

She noted, “Dear people, remain alert, you stole the votes of 60,000 citizens in broad daylight! Yes, with one click, you stole the votes of 60,000 citizens, you are mandate thieves, try to confront that reality. You have nothing to do with democracy anymore. You are connected to democracy just as much as the red berets attacking the opposition are connected to diplomatic arts.”

According to the MP, not only do they steal mandates, but they are now also dispossessing these citizens. “I have never shared Gagik Tsarukyan's political tastes, but you stole that person's votes, stole the mandates, and now you are encroaching on his property,” she emphasized.

Khmoyan added, “Dear colleagues, have you noticed, whatever that man has in the name of Ararat, they are now taking it? I’m even sure that it’s not about the property, it’s about the signs. The issue may be removing the sign of the ‘Ararat’ brandy-wine-vodka factory, it’s about taking down the sign of the ‘Araratcemet’ factory. I’m confident that’s the issue.”
