Iran Threatens to Hold Ukraine Accountable

The Iranian commercial ship strike by Ukraine was intentional, and Iran will take steps to hold Ukraine accountable. The evidence indicates that the attack by the Ukrainian side on the Iranian commercial ship was premeditated. Iran will take all necessary measures to hold Ukraine accountable for this incident. This was stated by the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baghaei.

"The Ukrainian authorities, both during direct talks with the Iranian Foreign Minister and in messages sent to us, asserted that the strike was not intentional. However, the existing facts and compelling evidence, including direct statements from the President of Ukraine, indicate that the attack was indeed premeditated. We have acknowledged the explanations from the Ukrainian side and are awaiting whether they will take practical steps to substantiate their claims regarding the non-intentional nature of this crime. Iran will certainly take all necessary measures to hold Ukraine accountable, ensuring that such actions and crimes are never repeated by Ukraine again," Baghaei noted.
