The 'Armenia' Alliance Issues a Statement
'Armenia' alliance has issued a statement regarding the actions occurring in our office in Spitak and the targeting of our team members. These actions are no surprise. Such tactics from the law enforcement system have long become the signature of the current ruling party.
This behavior once again underscores that the government lacks public support and confidence in its own power, resorting to such measures to ensure its reproduction. What is happening is not a legal process, but yet another cheap attempt to obstruct the normal functioning of our organizations.
Through such methods, the authorities are trying to spread a climate of fear, yet this only reinforces our belief that the chosen path is correct. No search or arrest can alter our political agenda; our team knows what it is fighting for.
We urge our citizens to respond to all illegal actions carried out by the government on June 7, by rejecting the established authoritarian regime in Armenia,” the statement reads.
It should be noted that a search was conducted at the 'Armenia' alliance’s office in Spitak, resulting in an arrest. The Anti-Corruption Committee has reported that the mentioned investigative actions are taking place within the framework of a criminal case initiated by the Committee. Additional information will be provided if necessary.
