Brawl at Charentsavan Court Leads to Heavy Police Presence
A chaotic situation has unfolded at the Charentsavan court. During a hearing in the murder case of Sargis Zeynalyan, the grandson of Constitutional Court judge Artak Zeynalyan, a brawl erupted between the injured and accused parties. This has been reported by ArmLur.
As a result of the altercation, several court officials were also injured, including one who suffered a head injury. Currently, law enforcement officers are working at the scene.
According to Shamashyan, the brawl occurred between relatives of the accused and the victim during the court session, escalating into a real fight that resulted in damaged court property and injuries among court officials, some of whom sustained bodily harm. Numerous law enforcement officers have arrived at the court.
The tense situation remains as only the actions of the court officials have prevented more severe consequences, as operational information indicates that there were also citizens armed with knives among the crowd.
It is noteworthy that on November 10, 2025, in the city of Abovyan, two individuals attacked 24-year-old Sargis Zeynalyan, inflicting stab wounds, which ultimately led to his death.
