Could We One Day Merge the Armed Forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan: Mamijanyan on Pashinyan's Statement
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, announced yesterday that the energy systems of Armenia and Azerbaijan are expected to be interconnected. This was stated by the leader of the National Assembly faction 'I Have Honor', Hayk Mamijanyan.
According to him, such an approach could also lead to proposals for merger ideas in other sectors, including defense.
“Could we one day say, to optimize expenses, let's merge the Armed Forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan? That’s roughly the same logic. Dear citizens, are you okay with giving our energy system's light tariff to Azerbaijan? I am not okay,” emphasized Mamijanyan.
