Blizzard Expected, Low Horizontal Visibility: Weather Forecast in Armenia
Precipitation is expected in some regions of the Republic of Armenia during the day on January 14 and on January 15. Significant snowfalls are anticipated in certain areas, with blizzard conditions and low horizontal visibility expected in some mountainous regions. According to the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, January 16 and the night of January 17 will see weather without precipitation.
On January 14, wind intensification is expected in some areas with speeds of 15-18 m/s. The air temperature will gradually decrease by 10-13 degrees from January 14-16. Due to the drop in temperature, icy conditions are anticipated on the country's roadways in the morning.
In Yerevan, snow is expected on the morning of January 14, the night and morning of January 15, as well as during the day on January 17 and on the 18th. The daytime of January 14 is anticipated to be between 1-3 degrees Celsius, while in the evening, temperatures will drop to -3...-5 degrees.
