Body of 18-Year-Old Missing for Nearly a Month Recovered from Hrazdan River
On January 12, Shamshyan.com reported that rescuers had recovered a body from the Hrazdan River beneath the Kiev Bridge. Today, it became clear that the recovered body was that of 18-year-old Mikhail D., a resident of Yerevan, who had been wanted by the Police of the Republic of Armenia's Community Police since December 11.
Auroranews contacted spokesperson for the Investigative Committee, Kima Avdalyan, who stated in a conversation with us, "A criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code (driving to suicide). A forensic examination of the body has been appointed. An investigation is underway."
