Venezuelan Interim President Makes Statement
Venezuela needs to develop and maintain relationships with all countries in its hemisphere, as well as with nations in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. This statement was made by the interim president of the country, Delcy Rodriguez, during a meeting with members of parliament.
According to her, currently, 71 percent of Venezuela's exports are concentrated in just eight countries, with 27 percent going to the United States. Rodriguez noted that these figures reflect the structure of foreign trade but also emphasized the importance of collaborating with various markets.
She stated that Venezuela's economic and geopolitical relationships should be multi-directional and balanced. Rodriguez characterized the diversification of exports and external connections as a natural and correct approach for the country's development.
Rodriguez reaffirmed that Venezuela aims to cooperate with countries from different regions, regardless of political or geographical factors. According to her statement, this policy aims to strengthen the country's position on the international stage and ensure stable economic relations.
