Venezuela's Oil Sale Proceeds to be Directed to U.S. Products, Trump Claims

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that Venezuela will exclusively purchase American-made products with proceeds from a new oil deal. He made this statement on the Truth Social platform, noting that he received this information at an official level.

According to Trump, the agreement involves a range of products, including agricultural goods produced in the U.S., pharmaceuticals, and equipment for energy systems. He emphasized that the financial resources obtained from the deal will be used specifically for these purposes.

The U.S. President also recalled that on January 6, he announced an agreement with Venezuela, where the country's authorities would transfer between 30 to 50 million barrels of oil to the United States for further sale. He stated that he would have control over the revenue generated from this deal.

As of now, the Venezuelan authorities have not released an official response to this announcement.
