Several Police Employees Dismissed from Service
The transparency of the process for responding to violations of discipline and ethics within the system is one of the principles of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In this context, the results of disciplinary commission service investigations are regularly presented, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The last meeting of the Ministry's Disciplinary Commission was chaired by the commission's president, Ara Fidanyan, the Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. During the meeting, the materials and findings of the service investigation conducted against seven police officers were studied and discussed.
After analyzing the factual circumstances, the Disciplinary Commission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs decided to recommend to the officials who appointed the service investigations to impose the disciplinary penalty of "dismissal from the police" on five police officers, while two officers were exempted from disciplinary responsibility.
