Medvedev on Enhanced Control at Russia's Border Checkpoints
Biometric control of migrants should be extended to all border checkpoints of the Russian Federation. This was announced by Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, during a meeting dedicated to migration issues.
“The Moscow government is actively involved in equipping 11 border checkpoints with biometric systems. Naturally, this issue and these projects should be extended to all border checkpoints in the country,” stated Dmitry Medvedev.
