Passenger Plane Makes Emergency Landing in France

A flight from Paris to Ajaccio, Corsica, was forced to make an emergency landing in Lyon due to a technical failure. Passengers reported seeing flames coming from the wing of the aircraft, according to RTL radio.

"An Air France plane deviated from its course and made an emergency landing in Lyon due to a technical failure. The passengers heard a muffled noise. Some of them saw from the window that the wing of the plane was burning," the radio station reported.

The airline's statement only mentioned a "technical failure" without providing additional details.
