Iran's President Rejects US Terms, Calling Them 'Humiliating'
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that the United States is imposing "humiliating terms" for the continuation of negotiations that Iran will not accept. He emphasized that Iran will not tolerate humiliation or weakness, according to Mehr news agency.
This statement was made during a meeting on Wednesday in Tehran with representatives of the political elite, prominent figures, and party secretaries.
Regarding the sanctions imposed on the country, he noted that Iran had previously negotiated with the United States and was prepared to reach an agreement; however, Washington undermined the deal by resorting to war.
The Iranian president added that the US is now offering humiliating conditions for the continuation of negotiations, which he is not willing to accept, underscoring that Iran will not tolerate humiliation and will not accept a weak or fragmented nation.
