Ukraine Can Only Rely on Its Own Strengths, Says Foreign Policy
According to analysts at Foreign Policy, in the current situation, Kyiv must first take into account its own capabilities, as the statements and actions of external actors do not form a clear and unwavering security system.
In August, Donald Trump stated that the United States could provide air support to Ukraine regarding a possible peace agreement with Russia, but now Washington has taken a passive stance. It has been reported that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio conveyed to European counterparts that 'the issue of security guarantees will only be discussed when the parties reach an agreement.'
Additionally, an EU official who wished to remain anonymous informed the publication that European countries do not have a clear understanding of what the situation would be if a troop deployment occurs in Ukraine and then faces Russian aggression.
