Hrachya Hakobyan Also Does Not Run for Parliamentary Elections
RA National Assembly member from the ‘Civil Contract’ party, Hrachya Hakobyan, has announced that he will not be running in the parliamentary elections to be included in the party's proportional list. Hakobyan himself informed Auroranews about this decision.
He added that there is nothing serious behind his choice; he simply does not wish to run.
It is worth recalling that earlier, we reported that fellow National Assembly member Khachatur Sukiasyan from the same party also opted not to run in the parliamentary elections.
The party stated that candidates wishing to be included in the proportional list of the Civil Contract party for the upcoming parliamentary elections in 2026 could self-nominate between November 1 and November 30. Applications for candidacy could be submitted not only by party members but also by non-partisans if they have a recommendation from a member of the board.
