Zelensky to Meet Macron in Paris on December 1
French President Emmanuel Macron will host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Paris on December 1, Monday, as reported by AFP, citing a representative of the Elysee Palace.
The leaders will discuss the conditions for a "just and lasting peace." Macron has previously praised Washington's peace process, considering it an opportunity to achieve "real progress toward a peaceful resolution" between Russia and Ukraine. He stated that peace can be attained through reliable security guarantees rather than official commitments.
Furthermore, the French leader indicated that the US peace plan cannot be accepted without approval from EU countries. Macron has also called for continued pressure on Russia to initiate negotiations.
