Who Could Replace Andrey Yermak in US Negotiations
According to The Economist journalist Oliver Carroll, the Ukrainian delegation in negotiations with the United States could be led by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov. He is already flying to Washington and may replace the dismissed Andrey Yermak, according to the publication.
Carroll notes that the negotiations are ongoing, and Donald Trump, due to a Ukrainian corruption scandal, is effectively pushing the parties toward an "unequal peace" that would be more advantageous for Moscow.
It is worth recalling that Andrey Yermak's resignation occurred just one day before his scheduled visit to Miami for peace talks with the team of US President Donald Trump.
