13 Killed in Southern Syria Following Israeli Attack

According to Syrian state media, thirteen people have been killed in the south of the country due to an Israeli attack. Damascus has accused Israel of a "criminal assault," while Tel Aviv has stated that its forces were targeted during an operation aimed at the detention of militants.

Israeli military officials reported that six soldiers were wounded as a result of "shelling from militants in the village of Beit Jin."
