Erdogan and Zelensky Meet Face to Face: Crucial Talks Begin in Ankara
The negotiations between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are already included in the official agenda of the presidential office in Ankara. Erdogan's administration has announced that the meeting will take place at the presidential complex in Ankara, starting at 16:05 Moscow time.
Prior to the meeting, Burhanettin Duran, head of the Turkish Presidential Communications Directorate, stated that discussions with Zelensky would address both bilateral relations and the situation regarding the Ukrainian conflict. He noted that the focus would be on possible pathways to establish a ceasefire, as well as long-term resolution mechanisms, including the processes that emerged in Istanbul.
