The Situation in the South Caucasus is Stabilizing: Shoigu
The Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, Sergey Shoigu, has stated that the overall situation in the South Caucasus indicates a trend towards stabilization and improvement.
“Overall, the situation in the South Caucasus shows a trend of improvement. At the same time, we emphasize that the peace process should have a regional character. In this regard, it is necessary to restore the activities of the '3+3' consultative-regional group,” Shoigu mentioned during the 13th meeting of the Secretaries of Security Councils of CIS member states held in Moscow.
Shoigu also highlighted the importance of unblocking transport and communication links in the region, recalling that some agreements have already been reached in this direction within the framework of the trilateral working group.
