More than thirty years of conflict resolved politically: Pashinyan
More than thirty years of conflict have been resolved politically; however, it continues socio-psychologically. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a forum organized by the Orbeli Center.
“It is impossible to turn off the switch and stop the brakes. This is why the conflict is periodically expressed in Armenia and Azerbaijan at the level of the press, experts, and even the leaders of the countries,” Pashinyan said.
He noted that this does not mean forgetting history: “This does not mean that we should forget history, but we should not become reproducing history either,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
It is worth recalling that the day before, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that “there is no Lake Sevan, there is Lake Goycha, and almost all place names in today’s territory of Armenia have Azerbaijani origins.”
